Medical Marijuana Card

Measure 692 in Washington does not establish a state medical marijuana registry. As such, patients are only required to obtain written documentation (i.e. valid documentation) from an accredited physician to begin cannabis therapy treatment. Qualified patients must be 18 years of age or older, and must be residents of Washington State. After seeing a medical marijuana doctor, patients who possess valid documentation affirming that he or she suffers from a debilitating condition(s) is immune from state level criminal penalties on the use, possession, and cultivation of medical marijuana. Patients are recommended to carry their valid documentation, and a photo ID at all times.
